The International Charity Bazaar chaired by the Embassy of Ukraine was held in Dublin under the slogan ‘Around the World in a Day’
On 17th November 2019 the Embassy and the Ukrainian community in Ireland had a great honour to greet Lord Mayor of Dublin Mr Paul McAuliffe and First Lady Mrs Sabina Higgins at the Ukrainian stand at the International Charity Bazaar.
We are proud that the 12th Bazaar was chaired by the Ukrainian Embassy and organized with the support of the Diplomatic Corps, Irish friends, local and international sponsors, volunteers and Irish media.
More than 40 Embassies and host country Ireland had stalls offering food and souvenirs from their countries.
Thanks to the support of the Association of Ukrainians and other representatives of the Ukrainian community in Ireland, companies Nemiroff, Lviv Handmade Chocolate, Fantastic Flavours, Balan’s Honey, Ryan Meat, The Art of Coffee, as well as our artists and craft makers, visitors of the Bazaar had a great opportunity to enjoy exclusive souvenirs and handicrafts, traditional cuisine, drinks and snacks, delicious sweets and ice cream made by the Ukrainians.
The Bazaar also had a cultural show with songs and dances from 11 countries, where Ukraine was represented by the “Vereneya” dance group, folk bands “Ukrainian Emeralds” and “Slava to Ukraine”, as well as bandura musician Natalia Feshchenko.
