During the conversation an ascending trend in bilateral trade and economic cooperation was noted. For the last three years the trade turnover between the two countries more than doubled, reaching in 2012 unprecedented in bilateral history $325 million.
The parties agreed that the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation signed recently was of extraordinary importance for further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Mr.J.Murphy has reaffirmed Ireland’s support to European integration aspirations of Ukraine. A special attention was paid to the development of bilateral cooperation within international economic organizations, in particular the OECD.
