Ukrainian school "Step by Step" opened in Dublin

On 29 November the opening ceremony of a new Ukrainian school in Ireland "Step by Step" was held. The ceremony was attended by representatives of Ukrainian educational and cultural circle, the priest of Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ireland Vasyl Kornitskyy, Dublin Ukrainian community, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Sergii Reva and Embassy’s staff.

Speaking at the ceremony the Ambassador S.Reva emphasized the importance of opening of the Ukrainian school in this dramatic time when Ukraine defends its statehood and sovereignty. He expressed confidence that grains of love to knowledge sown in the hearts and minds of children would later germinate and give bountiful harvest, forming from our children a generation of responsible citizens and decent educated people.

The establishment of the educational institution was initiated by the Ukrainian National Ms. Maria Osadchuk. The school invites children from 5 years. Ukrainian and Russian language and literature, mathematics will be among subjects at the new school as well as acquaintance of children with the achievements of Ukrainian and world cultural heritage.
