On 3 December 2010 H.E.Mr. Sergii Reva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ireland, met Ms. Adi Roche, President of "Chernobyl Children’s Project International” organization, who was honoured at the World of Children Awards ceremony with an award presented to civil societies and organisations that conduct philanthropic activities on children support.

Ambassador congratulated Ms. A.Roche with such prestigious award (the relevant ceremony took place on 4 November 2010 at UN Headquarters in New York). He underlined that Ms. A.Roche and her foundations activities’ in the sphere of Chernobyl children rehabilitation are highly appreciated in Ukraine.

Ms. Adi Roche informed on main "Chernobyl Children’s Project International” activities. One of its projects is the missions by highly qualified children heart surgeons to different regions of Ukraine aimed on conducting of surgeons and Ukrainian personnel training.

During the conversation perspectives of commemoration events to be held in Ireland on the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Chornobyl tragedy were also discussed.
