On 14 January Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland S.Reva met with the Minister of State for European Affairs and Data Protection Dara Murphy.
The Irish Minister reaffirmed the unchanged support by Ireland for Ukraine’s European integration aspirations, inter alia forthcoming entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. In this regard the parties expressed their hope that the Parliament of Ireland would ratify the Agreement shortly.
The Ambassador briefed the Minister on the latest developments in Ukraine and drew his attention to the dreadful terrorist attack, perpetrated by pro-Russian militants on 13 January in Donetsk region, which took lives of 12 innocent people.
D.Murphy condemned this crime and expressed his solidarity with Ukraine in the peace restoration process on its territory.
