On 13 April 2010, H.E. Mr. Borys Bazylevskyi, Ambassador of Ukraine in Ireland, met with H.E. Mrs. Mary McAleese, President of Ireland, before his departure upon completion of his mission in the state.

Issues of further deepening of political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries were discussed at the meeting.

The Ambassador conveyed to the President of Ireland, H.E. Mrs. Mary McAleese greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Viktor Yanukovych. He also expressed hope that the leadership of Ireland will visit Ukraine in the nearest feature.

In her turn, H.E. Mrs. Mary McAleese requested to convey her greetings and wishes of every success in developing Ukraine to the President of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Viktor Yanukovych.
