Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Charles Flanagan.
Pavlo Klimkin expressed gratitude to Ireland for firm and consistent support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed his Irish counterpart of the latest developments in Donbass.
Discussing the Minsk agreements observance the participants noted the important role of OSCE mission in Donbass sharing opinions with regard to OSCE mission strengthening and expansion.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ireland Charles Flanagan stressed on the need of maintaining a consolidated position of the EU to support Ukraine in conditions of the continuing Russian aggression.
The Irish Minister underlined that the abolition of the EU sanctions against Russia is possible only in case of full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
