Triumph of Ukraine's Paralympic Team

Ukraine`s National Paralympic Swimming team triumphed at the 2018 Para European Swimming Championships, which finished on 19th August in Dublin.
Winning in total 106 medals, including 33 golden, 44 silver and 29 bronze awards, Ukrainians topped the list of national teams participating in the championship.
The most substantive contributions to the victory were made by Yelyzaveta Mereshko, who won 5 gold and 3 silver medals, Yaroslav Denysenko with 5 gold and 2 silver awards and Maksym Kripack with 4 gold and 3 silver medals.
National Paralympic Team of Italy finished the second with 72 decorations and Great Britain was the 3rd with 55 awards.
Ukrainian community and the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland warmly welcomed and supported Ukrainian athletes during 7 competition days at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.
In acknowledgement of their victory Ukrainians from Ireland presented memorable gifts to theathletes.
