On 5 December 2019, on the margins of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko met with the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Simon Coveney.
Vadym Prystaiko thanked his Irish counterpart for Dublin`s consistent support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including via adhering to Ukraine`s initiatives within international organisations.
The sides agreed on further steps aimed at deepening trade and economic ties based on a successful experience of the Irish companies in Ukraine, in particular Ryanair company.
Vadym Prystaiko also welcomed the planned establishment of the Irish Embassy in Kyiv in 2020, which will offer new opportunities for advanced bilateral relations in many domains.
