During the conversation both sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of Ukrainian-Irish relations and, in particular, inter-parliamentary dialogue.

In the context of expanding bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation prospects of Ceann Comhairle’s visit to Ukraine were discussed.

Actual international affairs, including progress of the Irish Presidency of the EU, as well as current state and prospects of relations between Ukraine and the EU, were among the other issues raised during the meeting.

Ceann Comhairle confirmed Ireland's constant support of Ukraine’s European aspirations, including signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
