Talks between Mr. B.Hayes and the Minister for Finance of Ukraine Mr.Yuriy Kolobov took place during which a bilateral Double Taxation Agreement and Protocol to it were signed.

“Today’s event is of extraordinary importance for intensification of bilateral cooperation between our two countries. The Convention will enable us to continue further expansion of investment activities in the fields of economy which are of greater relevance for both countries,” – said Minister Y.Kolobov.

Minister B.Hayes was received by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr. Mykola Azarov. “We highly appreciate the support by Ireland as a member of the EU and the country which carries out its EU Presidency, to our European integration aspirations”, – said Mykola Azarov.

In his turn Minister B.Hayes reconfirmed support to Ukraine’s European integration aspirations: “During our EU Presidency we will take a very active part in the Summit in Vilnius. We back the integration of Ukraine into the European structures and give your country entire support,”– said Minister B.Hayes.
