On 16 February 2011 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ireland H.E. Mr. Sergii Reva had a meeting with Mr.Sean Gorman, Secretary General of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Innovation of Ireland.

During the conversation the present stay and perspectives of progress of Ukraine-Ireland trade relations were discussed. The parties underlined the need for broadening a legal basis between the two countries, noted the presence of possibilities for bilateral cooperation in different fields, in particular in participation of Irish companies in the realization of infrastructure projects in Ukraine, and Ukrainian companies in the projects on hydropower development in Ireland.
