On 15 April 2011 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ireland H.E. Mr. Sergii Reva had a meeting with Mr. David Cooney, Secretary General at the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ireland.
During the conversation the present stay of Ukraine-Ireland relations was discussed as well as maintenance of high level political contacts. The Ambassador stressed the priority of the European integration course for Ukraine and expressed his expectations concerning fruitful cooperation in the frameworks of the OSCE during upcoming Irish and Ukrainian presidency.
Mr. David Cooney confirmed the readiness of the Irish Side to deepening of bilateral relations and continuing of a high level dialogue, underlined the advancing development of bilateral relations and confirmed Ireland’s constant support of the Ukraine’s aspirations on European integration.
