Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Sergii Reva: Russian military invasion of the territory of Ukraine requires an adequate reaction from the EU

Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Sergii Reva stated this in his interviews to the “RTE1” TV channel and “Morning Ireland” radio programme.
The Ambassador also said that a direct Russian military invasion of Ukraine last week created a new more dangerous situation which could spread into a full-scale war.
The objective of Russian aggressors is evident: to create a zone of instability in the East of Ukraine and prevent Ukraine from approaching the EU and NATO.
In this situation an adequate reaction and effective steps from the EU are needed to restrain Kremlin’s aggressive policy.
