On January 27 the Dáil Éireann voted for the ratification of the Association Agreement between EU and Ukraine.
According to the existing procedure, the Dáil’s decision is final and does not require the approval by the Seanad Éireann.
Thus, Ireland became the 14th EU country which ratified the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
This decision of the Dáil Éireann is yet another proof of real support by Ireland to European aspirations of Ukraine and its solidarity with the Ukrainian people in these difficult times.
