On 22 February 2015 the Anniversary of the "Revolution of Dignity" in Ukraine was commemorated in Dublin. The event was organized by a public organization «Ukrainian Connection Society» and was attended by over 200 representatives of the Ukrainian community in Ireland, Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland Sergii Reva, representatives of the Embassy’s staff and not indifferent Irish citizens.
The gathering concluded a series of cultural ant arts events, held in the framework of the photo exhibition "Ukraine: Inspiring Dignity" devoted to the Anniversary of the events on Maidan which was exposed last week in Dublin.
During the meeting the participants of the "Euromaidan" shared their memories of the "Revolution of dignity" in Ukraine and paid tribute to the "Heavenly Hundred" and those Ukrainians who lost their lives while countering Russian aggression. A memorial prayer service was conducted by the mentor of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Ireland father Vasyl Kornitskyy.
The participants walked in a “human chain" through the center of Dublin, symbolizing the unity of the people of Ukraine and solidarity of Irish people with them.
