Photo exhibition "Ukraine: Inspiring Dignity" opened in Dublin

On 12 February 2015 an opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Ukraine: Inspiring Dignity" took place in the framework of the Dublin City University international conference "Ukraine: One Year after Maidan".

The event was co-sponsored by the «Ukrainian Connection Society» and the Embassies of Ukraine and Lithuania in Ireland.

Speaking at the ceremony the Ambassador of Ukraine Sergii Reva pointed out that the "Revolution of Dignity" was both a turning point and the most tragic page in the history of independent Ukraine. However, because of Maidan there was an unprecedented rise of national consciousness of the Ukrainian people and strengthening the course of European integration.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the international team of the «Ukrainian Connection Society» for the work done and all who supported this project.

Ambassador of Lithuania to Ireland Rasa Adomaitiené expressed solidarity with the people of Ukraine's on its path towards the European integration and support in these difficult times.

The exhibition can be visited from 15 to 22 February at «Filmbase», Curved Street, D2.
