The 31st Plenary Meeting of the Missile Technology Control Regime was held in Dublin on October 16-20, 2017 under co-chairing of Ireland and Iceland.
This year MTRC Plenary encompassed all 35 partners, including the delegation from Ukraine headed by Sergii Shutenko, Director-General of International Security Directorate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegations exchanged information and views on many important issues related to missile technology non-proliferation, notably outcomes of the Regime activities for the last 12 months as well as its further priorities.
In the terms of the MTCR activity the delegation of Ukraine stressed the need to identify and block foreign aid sources for missile programs that are of concern, including the DPRK missile program.
