On 11th June 2019 in Dublin to mark the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Eastern Partnership the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in association with European Movement Ireland under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency held panel discussions to take stock of current progress as well as consider the Partnership beyond 2020.
The Minister of State for European Affairs, Helen McEntee, was a key note speaker for the event. The Director for the Neighbourhood East & Institution Building at DG NEAR in the European Commission, Lawrence Meredith, the Director of the Maynooth University Centre for European and Eurasian Studies and Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration, John O’Brennan, Heads of Missions of Romania, Manuela Breazu, Georgia, George Zurabashvili, Moldova, Larisa Miculet, Ukraine, Olena Shaloput, as well as representative of the Embassy of Armenia took part in discussions.
Also in attendance were representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Dublin, political and academic circles etc.
